THREE PROFILES. FOUR CURRENT SIZES. NO TACTICAL DISSERTATION.
Ergo Knuckle 2, Classic Knuckle, and Single Knuck are all part of the same 100% plastic lineup. They are not the same shape with different names.
Ergo is fuller and contoured. Classic is straighter and flatter. Single cuts the format down to one finger. Current size options run from Small through X-Large, depending on the product.
Here is the practical difference.
The quick comparison
| Profile | Finger coverage | Basic shape | Start here if… |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ergo Knuckle 2 | Four fingers | Fuller and contoured | You want the fuller four-finger profile and the broadest starting point in the current lineup. |
| Classic Knuckle | Four fingers | Straighter and flatter | You prefer a straighter four-finger shape. |
| Single Knuck | One finger | Compact | You specifically want a single-finger format rather than full-hand coverage. |
This table explains the profiles. It does not replace the printable size guide.
Ergo Knuckle 2
Ergo Knuckle 2 is the fuller, contoured four-finger option. It is the current sales leader in the NoMetalKnucks lineup and the most straightforward place to begin if you are comparing all three profiles for the first time.
The important word is contoured. The shape is visibly different from Classic, and it should be selected using the current Ergo/four-finger guide rather than by assuming that every four-finger product fits the same.
Choose Ergo if:
- you want four-finger coverage,
- you prefer the fuller profile,
- you want the current flagship NoMetalKnucks design,
- you are prepared to choose an actual size rather than accept one-size-fits-all.
Classic Knuckle
Classic is also a four-finger plastic knuckle, but its profile is straighter and flatter than Ergo.
That difference is the reason both products exist. “Four finger” tells you the broad format. It does not tell you the complete shape.
Choose Classic if:
- you want four-finger coverage,
- you prefer the straighter profile,
- the Classic outline on the verified guide matches your hand better,
- you are comparing shape first instead of choosing by product name alone.
Single Knuck
Single Knuck reduces the format to one finger. It is not a miniature four-finger product and should not be sized from the four-finger guide.
Choose Single if:
- you specifically want a one-finger profile,
- compactness matters more to you than four-finger coverage,
- you have checked the dedicated Single guide,
- you understand that it is a different format, not simply a smaller Ergo or Classic.
The size matters as much as the profile
ONE SIZE FITS NOBODY.
A profile comparison gets you halfway there. The next step is selecting the actual size.
NoMetalKnucks currently offers sizes from Small through X-Large across the lineup. Availability varies by product and color. Use the printable guide for the exact profile you are considering, follow the scale instructions, and compare your hand with the correct outline.
Do not use the Single guide for a four-finger product or the four-finger guide for Single.
What all three have in common
The current Ergo, Classic, and Single products use 100% plastic construction. They are sold as self-defense weapons, not disguised as ordinary accessories.
They also share the same basic brand idea:
- multiple profiles,
- multiple sizes,
- clear product selection,
- no one-size nonsense.
Material construction does not automatically answer legal or location-specific questions. Check the rules that apply where you live and where you intend to possess or carry any self-defense weapon.
The shortest possible answer
Start with Ergo if you want the fuller four-finger profile.
Choose Classic if you want the straighter four-finger profile.
Choose Single if you want a one-finger format.
Then use the correct printable guide and choose the size that matches.
That is the whole decision.
